Abstract:
Internal public audit, a functionally independent and objective activity, provides insurance and advice for the management with a view to the proper management of revenue and public expenditure, improving thus the activities of the public institution.\r\nThe internal public audit helps the institution to meet their objectives through a systematic and methodical approach, which evaluates and improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the management system based on risk management, control management and management processes. \r\nThe internal public audit has a broad sphere of financial activities or financial implications held by the public institution since the formation of commitments to the use of funds by beneficiaries, including funds from internal assistance, formation of the public revenues, respectively authorizing and establishing the promissory notes, as well as facilities granted when cashing them, managing public assets, as well as selling, offering pledge, granting or rental of goods from the public and private field of the territorial unit, systems of financial management and control, including accounting and related computerized systems.\r\n
