Abstract:
On 26 October 2010, the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania celebrated the National Day of the Financial Auditor, marked by a professional seminar: "Financial Audit – Corporate Governance necessity. Investment in the development of successful business", organized by the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania in collaboration with the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. \r\nOn the Agenda of the event there were two professional themes: „The financial audit and the perspective of the economic governance” and „Financial audit, accountancy procedures and policies – within the context of the corporate governance”, as well as two workshops on: "Financial audit – quality, responsibility and professionalism"; "Financial audit – corporate governance necessity: demands and developments within the context of the economic crises". The participants were financial auditors, professional trainers and business environment representatives. \r\nThe main debates and presentations of this Seminar are published in this edition of our journal. \r\n
