Abstract:
This article intends to present the organizational structure of the European Federation of Accountants, making reference to the main governance bodies, to the decision-making mechanism, the FEE working parties and the basic criteria based upon which a professional organization can be represented within FEE. The article also highlights a series of challenges which have and will continue to have a major influence on the accountancy and audit profession. Finally, international and European specific issues within the accountancy and auditing fields are being underlined.\r\n\r\n
