Abstract:
In his intervention, FEE representative made reference to the need for implementation and compliance with the European legislation, including the legislation in the accounting area. After presenting how FEE works, Mr. Olivier Boutellis-Taft insisted on the responsibilities of the professional bodies and of the audit professionals for the compliance with the quality standards in order to ensure the independence, transparency and objectivity. \r\n\r\nAt the same time, he pointed out the interest for the audit profession in Romania and his availability for cooperation with CAFR in order to solve the issues for CAFR joining to FEE.
