Abstract:
After reviewing the activities accomplished by CAFR to put into practice the European Directives and the professional international standards, the speaker insisted on education and training at an appropriate level for the quality of the activity performed by the financial auditors.\r\n\r\nIn the second part of the communication, she pointed out the steps taken for implementing the more severe rules on quality control, public oversight and transparency, requirements imposed by the new European Eighth Directive. \r\n\r\nThis way, according to the Chamber strategy together with the Ministry of Public Finance, assimilation of the provisions of the new Directive is already a task in the activity plan of the two institutions. Already, the two institutions participated in a program with World Bank assistance, which for a year and a half presented the main aspects, and following this program already is in place a working group in charge with implementing the new Eighth Directive. \r\n\r\nAlso, in this quarter a contract for a new assistance program is to be completed to help solving the difficult issues related to the new Eighth Directive implementation in our country in order to be properly assimilated.\r\n
