Abstract:
Recently, at Constanta, the financial auditors in this area meet with members of the Chamber’s Management in a series of workshops entitled “Financial Audit Approaches in year 2006”.\r\n\r\nPhD Ion Mihailescu, president of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania talked about „Chamber’s strategy and plans for year 2006”, pointing out recent evolution in the profession of financial audit concerning the new 8th Directive of CEE and its perspectives after the adhesion of Romania in the European Union; Maria Manolescu, vice-president of the Chamber presented „Accounting regulation applied to European Directives” and Emil Culda, vice-president of the Chamber „IFRS – a new challenge for the professional accountants”.\r\n\r\nThe meeting developed in an educative dialog with the financial auditors, concerning especially the matter of continuous training of the auditors and achieving the training in probation for those who wishes to become auditors. As well, it has been emphasized the demands for the quality in audit and the surveillance of it in the framework imposed by the European laws and international practice.\r\n
