Abstract:
Under the CECCAR organization, recently took place a seminar with the title announced upward, where came accountants experts, financial auditors and international guests.\r\n\r\nAs follows, we shall discuss the matter of developing the accountancy and audit profession, introducing the audit standards as well as standards of training and ethics in public surveillance in the framework of the 8th Directive.\r\n\r\nThe main idea that formed during the debates was that the challenges and the exigency that must be faced by the accountancy for the rail to the international and European norms, forces the professional organisms and public institutions to a common effort to defend and promote the interest of the profession, as well as national but also international, to help the members in the competition environment that will be after the adhesion.\r\n\r\nIn his comment, PhD Mihailescu Ion, president of the Chamber, said:\r\n„I traveled a lot in Europe and I took part in several international reunions and I know as a fact that only the unity of targets and thoughts established between the professional organisms could lead to favorable results. I cannot believe that in this moment there are backward steps. But for that to continue, we must keep ourselves united and to uphold onto each values.\r\n\r\nI assure you, as CECCAR members and members of the Chamber, I assure the international organisms came to Romania in a common effort for the reformation process that will be serious partners and when we will be asked to offer advice in resolving issues in our geographical area we will stand fair, next to them, to find the right solution.“\r\n\r\n
