Abstract:
Today, in order to be a good accountant does not mean only that you have a good intuition. The old lentils can not help to see a new economy where the value in created by the intangible assets: ideas, trade marks, know how. This breakage affects not only the financial analysts, but also the corporate officers. The employees do not know to measure their contributions in an effective manner. The managers do not have solid figures to base their decisions or to decide whether to support a project or to assess its performances. Do the companies base their activities on over evaluated researches in the capital markets? Do the companies pay too much for acquiring assets resulting from research? These issues and many other can not be correctly solved anymore using the current accounting and financial reporting methods.
