Abstract:
We base our decisions on trust, on truth in whatever we do. The economists, knowledgeable in ethics and businesses, tried to convince us that the honesty is the best policy but the proves for this do not seem to be very conclusive. It has been proved that the wisdom is what brings most of the money.\r\nThere is no reason from the economic point of view to tell the truth or to respect the word – the penalty for those who mislead in the real world is not sure, nor sure. Still, ...\r\nthe honesty represents in fact a moral decision. Most of us chose to trust ourselves and to be respected by the others. We can be proud of a system in which the people are honest because they chose to be this way and not because they should be this way. And from the material point of view, the trust based on morality brings advantages. Any individual with an honest businessman reputation will have a certain chance to be successful.\r\n
