Abstract:
After pointing some requirements resulting from the new Eighth Directive, having an incidence on the activity of the Romanian professionals, the speaker referred broadly to the practical actions taken by the CAFR in implementing the new regulations, both by the new sub commission created for this purpose at the level of the Council for Accountancy and Financial Reporting and by the activity developed by the Chamber. \r\n\r\nIt is considered that the experience attained by the Chamber in this area is an advantage as far as concerns the future contribution of CAFR in the public oversight system. \r\n\r\nThis way, after the necessary adapting and predestining, the current system used by the CAFR should play an important role in creating the second tier of the public oversight board, namely the one dedicated to the quality assurance, to investigations and to making disciplinary actions.\r\n
