Abstract:
The proposed study examines the role of effective corporate governance and application of the principle of transparency by Romanian entities. Thus the literature has taken a number of studies on the role of effective corporate governance and the importance of transparency. The present research is based on a quantitative study aimed at the implementation of the principle of transparency by Romanian entities. The results obtained show that in 2010 out of the 25 entities from category I listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), 22 have completed the declaration of compliance or non-compliance on corporate governance principles.\r\n
