Abstract:
The uncertain economic environment in which the economic entities perform their activity, adversely affects their financial performance and sustainability. In this context, non-financial budgets are the foundation for the development of financial budgets and are able to complete the informational capacities of the integrated budget system regarding the non-financial and financial performance of the entities. Research approach envisions a synthesis of ideas published on this subject. The present article presents conceptual approaches for measurement of non-financial performance, proposes the construction of a non-financial budget by economic entities and outlines its structural coordinates. Complementary, the applied dimension of the research validates the opportunity of a non-financial budget development, the significant impact on the financial performance and on the sustainability of economic entities.\r\n
