Abstract:
PwC Romania undertook in 2013 the now traditional CEO Survey. This article presents a series of issues concerning Romania, which outline the idea that the Romanian CEOs are more optimistic than their global counterparts when it comes to the businesses’ growth prospects. The uncertain or volatile economic growth, the Government’s response to the fiscal deficit and debt burden, the exchange rate volatility represent the main concerns of the Romanian CEOs. At the same time, the increase of the clients’ base and their retention, talent management and organizational structure are the main areas where changes in strategy are anticipated. CEOs will focus on strengthening the relations with the main stakeholders: clients, suppliers, authorities, the media and the local community.\r\n\r\n\r\n
