Abstract:
The objective of this study is to test how the Romanian companies listed on Bucharest stock exchange comply with disclosure on related party imposed by IAS 24. Therefore, through an extensive content analysis, the authors evaluated the information on related party presented by companies in the above mentioned sphere of interest in their annual reports. It was concluded that, overall, Romanian companies comply with IAS 24 on a medium to low level (overall value of disclosure index is 0.42 points).\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
