Abstract:
The current economic conditions, marked by the economic crisis, determine companies, regardless of their size or business, to adopt an intensive development, through cost reduction and process improvement. Thus, one starting point could be represented by migrating towards cloud computing technology. The limited resources of the company, aiming to obtain favorable financials KPIs, as well as the need to align the IT function to the long term business strategy, all determine the entity’s decision factors to face a new question: which technology best suits the company? The present study reveals results that could serve as a starting point for the decision of migrating (totally or partially) to the cloud computing technology instead of adopting the traditional model.\r\n\r\n
